I didn't do much design of alien elements on Prometheus but my main contribution was a doozie - getting to model and detail the legendary Space Jockey chair. Thanks to Steve Messing for handing me this piece of his incredible effort on the "Jockey Chamber" with all its cryo-beds, controle consoles, archways and ribs, etc.. And thanks also to Charlie DeLauzirika for lending his Jockey Chair maquette and to Leif Beckmann, a german sculptor whose own extremely accurate maquette was an invaluable resource. As seen in this image the chair, in this film, had to articulate to emerge from a portal in the room's central platform, so I had to make design adjustments and do some rigged animation tests to figure out how this could be possible with the minimum of cheating.
